Grilled Sriracha Glazed Prawns
24 | medium prawns |
3/4 Cup | sriracha |
1/4 cup | hoisin |
1/4 cup | light brown sugar, packed |
1/4 cup | rice vinegar |
3 tbsp | soy sauce |
4 tbsp | grated ginger |
1/2 tsp | fresh ground black pepper |
2 | limes, cut in half |
Instructions
Preheat grill for high heat.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sriracha, hoisin, brown sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, and black pepper. Reserve 3/4 cup of glaze in a separate bowl for serving.
Thread each prawn onto a skewer so that it is stretched out straight. Brush each prawn with glaze, coating evenly. Allow to rest for 15 minutes.
Place limes on grill cut side down. Grill for for 5 minutes, or until caramelized and slightly charred. Grill prawns in batches, for 4 minutes, turning until nicely charred and cooked through. In the last minute of grilling, brush prawns with more glaze.
Serve prawns with reserved glaze and grilled limes.
